Adding Images, Logos, and Cover Photos to Locations

How to add cover images, logos, and photos to your store locations so they appear in the widget.

Updated this week

Each location can have a cover image that shows in the widget's location card and detail view. Here's how to add them.

Adding images in the dashboard

  1. Go to Locations and click Edit on a location

  2. Scroll to the Cover Image section

  3. Upload an image or paste an image URL

  4. Click Save

The image will appear as the location's thumbnail in the widget.

Adding images via CSV import

Include a Cover Image column in your CSV with the full URL of the image:

Name, Address Line 1, Cover Image
My Store, 123 Main St, https://example.com/images/store-photo.jpg

The URL must be publicly accessible (not behind a login). Supported formats: JPG, PNG, GIF.

Adding images via Google Sheets

Same as CSV. Add a Cover Image column with the image URL. The image will be imported on the next sync.

Using the media library

StoreRocket has a built-in Media Library where you can upload images and reuse them across locations. Upload once, use the URL for multiple locations.

Adding logos vs cover images

The Cover Image is the main photo shown for the location. If you want to show a brand logo alongside the location details, you can use a custom field to store the logo URL and display it in the widget.

Images not showing?

  • Broken image icon: The URL might be wrong or the image was deleted from the source. Check the URL loads in a browser.

  • Images disappeared suddenly: This can happen during CDN outages (rare). Check if images are back after a few hours. If not, re-upload them.

  • Images not importing from CSV: Make sure the column is named exactly Cover Image and the URLs are complete (starting with https://).
