Need different store locators for different brands, regions, or product lines? You can create multiple projects in StoreRocket, each with its own locations, settings, and embed code.
Creating a new project
Click on your project name in the top navigation
Click Create New Project
Give it a name and save
Each project is completely separate. It has its own locations, filters, settings, widget theme, and embed code. Changes to one project don't affect the others.
Each project gets its own embed code
Go to Widget > Install for each project to get its unique embed code. Paste the right code on the right page.
For example:
Brand A's store locator page gets Brand A's embed code
Brand B's store locator page gets Brand B's embed code
Switching between projects
Click your project name in the top navigation to see all your projects. Click on one to switch to it. Your dashboard, locations, and settings will all update to show that project's data.
Can I have multiple widgets on the same page?
Yes. You can have the standard widget, search box, and floating button all on the same page. Each uses a different embed code from the Install page.
If you want two different store locators (different locations) on the same page, use two projects and place both embed codes on the page.
Do I need a separate subscription per project?
Each project needs its own subscription. If you have 3 projects, you'll have 3 subscriptions. Each one can be on a different plan.
Can I copy locations between projects?
There's no one-click copy, but you can export locations from one project and import them into another:
Export locations from the first project as CSV
Switch to the new project
Import the CSV file
Alternative: One project with pre-filtered embeds
Before creating multiple projects, consider whether filters can do what you need. If all your locations are in one project but you want different pages to show different subsets, you can use pre-filtered embed codes.
Add data-storerocket-filter to your embed code to only show locations with a specific filter:
data-storerocket-filter="Organic"
This way one project powers multiple pages, each showing a different filtered view. No extra subscriptions needed.
For details, see our Search Filters guide.
When to use multiple projects vs filters
Situation | Use filters (1 project) | Use multiple projects |
Same locations, different categories | Yes | No |
Completely different location sets | No | Yes |
Different brands with different styling | No | Yes |
Same brand, different regional pages | Yes | No |
