Install the store locator on WordPress

How to add your StoreRocket store locator to a WordPress website in under 2 minutes.

Updated yesterday

Adding StoreRocket to WordPress takes about 2 minutes. No plugin needed, just a simple copy-paste.

Get your embed code

  1. Go to Widget > Install in your StoreRocket dashboard

  2. Copy the embed code

Paste it into WordPress

Using the block editor (recommended)

  1. Edit the page where you want the store locator

  2. Click the + button to add a new block

  3. Search for Custom HTML and select it

  4. Paste your embed code into the block

  5. Click Publish or Update

That's it. Your store locator should appear on the page.

Using Elementor, Divi, or other page builders

Most page builders have an "HTML" or "Code" widget. Add one to your page and paste the embed code inside it. The exact name varies:

  • Elementor: HTML widget

  • Divi: Code module

  • WPBakery: Raw HTML element

  • Beaver Builder: HTML module

Using a widget area (sidebar or footer)

  1. Go to Appearance > Widgets in WordPress admin

  2. Add a Custom HTML widget to your desired area

  3. Paste the embed code

  4. Save

Making it full width

By default, the store locator fills the width of its container. If it looks too narrow, it's because your page template has a sidebar or content wrapper limiting the width.

To fix this:

  • Use a full-width page template (most themes have one)

  • Or add the store locator to a section outside the main content area

Common WordPress issues

Store locator not appearing after pasting code: Make sure you're using the "Custom HTML" block, not a regular paragraph block. The regular editor may strip the script tag.

Caching plugins: If you update your embed code but don't see changes, clear your cache. Popular plugins like WP Super Cache, W3 Total Cache, and WP Rocket all cache pages. Clear the cache and try again.

Security plugins: Some security plugins block external scripts. If the store locator doesn't load, check if your security plugin (Wordfence, iThemes, etc.) is blocking scripts from cdn.storerocket.io.

Old embed code: If you see "Store locator is loading from StoreRocket Store Locator App..." and it never loads, you might have an outdated embed code. Go to Widget > Install and grab a fresh copy.
