StoreRocket billing is straightforward, but there are a few things worth knowing, especially if you manage multiple projects or came through the Shopify app.
Plans and pricing
StoreRocket offers three plans:
Plan | Price | Locations | Best for |
Basic | $25/month | Up to 100 | Small businesses, single-location brands |
Pro | $39/month | Up to 1,000 | Growing brands, multi-location retailers |
Business | $69/month | Unlimited | Large chains, franchises, enterprises |
All plans include the full widget with Google Maps or Mapbox, search, filters, analytics, and live chat support. The main difference is the number of locations you can add.
See a full feature breakdown on the Plan Comparison page.
One subscription per project
This is the most important thing to understand: each project has its own subscription. If you have two projects, you have two separate subscriptions with two separate charges.
This catches people off guard when they created a second project to test something. If you only need one store locator, you only need one project. Delete or don't subscribe to the ones you're not using.
How to cancel
Go to your Billing page
Click Manage Subscription to open the Stripe billing portal
Click Cancel Plan
Your widget will continue working until the end of your current billing period.
Shopify users: Uninstalling the StoreRocket app from Shopify does NOT cancel your subscription. You need to cancel through StoreRocket's billing page or through the Shopify admin under your app subscriptions.
How to update your payment method
Go to your Billing page
Click Manage Subscription
Update your card details in the Stripe billing portal
How to get invoices and receipts
All invoices are sent automatically to the email address on your billing account. You can also find them in the Stripe billing portal:

Annual billing
Annual plans are available and come with a discount. To switch from monthly to annual, go to your Billing page and click Manage Subscription. You'll see the option to switch billing frequency.
"Your account needs an upgrade" error
If you see this message on your widget, it means your subscription has expired or your payment failed. Go to your Billing page to check the status of your subscription and update your payment method if needed.
After reactivating, your widget should start working again within a few minutes. If it still shows the error, clear your browser cache and any CDN cache on your website.
