Installing StoreRocket on Wix

How to add your store locator to a Wix website using an HTML embed.

Updated yesterday

Wix doesn't support direct script injection, but you can embed StoreRocket using an HTML iframe or Wix's custom HTML element.

Method 1: HTML Embed (recommended)

  1. Go to your Widget Install page in StoreRocket and copy the embed code

  2. In the Wix Editor, click Add (+) on the left sidebar

  3. Select Embed Code > Custom Embeds > Embed a Widget

  4. Click Enter Code

  5. Paste the StoreRocket embed code

  6. Click Update

  7. Resize the embed element to fit your page layout

  8. Publish your site

Sizing the widget

Wix's HTML embed elements need to be manually sized. Drag the corners to make it large enough for your store locator. A good starting size is the full width of your content area and at least 600px tall.

If the widget appears cut off or has scrollbars, make the embed element larger.

Google Maps API key on Wix

If you're using Google Maps, add your Wix domain to the API key's allowed referrers in Google Cloud Console:

  • *yourdomain.com/* (your custom domain)

  • *yourusername.wixsite.com/* (your Wix subdomain)

  • *storerocket.io/*

  • *.storerocket.io/*

Troubleshooting

Widget shows as a blank white box

The embed element might be too small. Resize it to at least 600px tall and the full width of your content area.

Widget not loading at all

Make sure you're using Embed a Widget (HTML embed), not a text element. The StoreRocket code needs to execute as JavaScript.

Links opening inside the embed instead of a new tab

This is a Wix limitation with HTML embeds. Some links might open within the iframe. For the best experience, consider using StoreRocket's hosted page as an alternative: link to your store locator on StoreRocket directly.
